We recently played at Greenville Tech's first Jazz on the Lawn. The audience was enthusiastic about our new instrumental sound. We will be playing at Jazz on the Square in Spartanburg on Friday May 7th from 5:30 - 7:30 with a very special guest appearance by our favorite vocalist, Betsy Shroeder. Then on Thursday May 13th we return to the Brown Street Club, with special guests Scottie Hodge (trumpet and vocals) and Cheryl Connelly Hubbard (vocals). Hope to see you at one of our upcoming events.

As those of you on our email list know, Betsy has left the band to pursue a graduate degree. We hope to have her back as she has time, but we are privileged to add Dave Johnson to Dirty Martini. Dave brings a wealth of experience and new sounds of his tenor and soprano saxes and flute. As we launch our instrumental trio, we look forward to playing all the great standards you have come to love, plus new ballads and jazz standards.

Does your business or group need music for a get-together? You should contact us if you are interested in listening (for slightly more than the cost of a DJ) to the dulcet tones of Dirty Martini, and setting a great, live jazz tone for your party, reception or celebration. We look forward to seeing you at one of our upcoming performances in and around Greenville. Stay in touch and let us know how you are, and tell us about your recently attended Dirty Martini performance. Whenever you get a chance, celebrate good food and live music in our delightful Upstate area.

Continuing thanks to our fans for supporting live jazz and sharing our love of these wonderful songs. It is a privilege to present these jazz standards and beautiful songs of the 20th century American Songbook. There are so many lovely tunes, and we try to bring a fresh approach to them - something unique, yet still treat these musical offerings as the treasures that they are.
